Complex Sentence Patterns
C2 seviyesinde birden fazla yan cümlenin iç içe geçtiği karmaşık yapılar kullanılır. Akademik metinler ve YDS paragrafları bu yapılarla doludur.
1. Gömülü Cümle (Embedded Clause)
Bir cümle başka bir cümlenin içine yerleşir:
The theory [that the researchers had proposed] was later confirmed.
People [who live in areas where pollution levels are high] face greater health risks.
2. Çoklu Bağlaç Kullanımı
Birden fazla bağlama ifadesinin bir arada kullanılması:
Although the government introduced new regulations in order to reduce emissions, it remains unclear whether these measures will be sufficient given that industrial output continues to rise.
3. Appositive (Arasöz) Yapıları
Virgüller arasına ek bilgi yerleştirme:
Dr. Smith, a renowned cardiologist who has published over 200 papers, presented the findings.
The Amazon, the world''s largest tropical rainforest, is home to millions of species.
4. Korelasyon Yapıları
The more...the more: The more you study, the better your results will be.
Not only...but also: Not only did she win the prize, but she also broke the record.
No sooner...than: No sooner had we arrived than it started raining.
Hardly...when: Hardly had I finished when the bell rang.
5. It Yapıları (İleri Seviye)
It is worth + V-ing: It is worth mentioning that...
It goes without saying that: It goes without saying that education is important.
It stands to reason that: It stands to reason that prices will rise.
It remains to be seen whether: It remains to be seen whether the policy will work.

- Ana cümleyi (main clause) bulun
- Virgüller arasındaki eklemeleri paranteze alın
- Bağlaçları (although, despite, because) işaretleyin
- Which/that ile başlayan yan cümleleri ayırın
- Kalan ana cümleyi okuyun - asıl mesaj budur
