To Be (am / is / are) Nedir?
To be İngilizce'nin en temel ve en sık kullanılan fiilidir. Türkçe'deki "-dır, -dir, -dur" veya "olmak" fiilinin karşılığıdır. İsim, sıfat, yer veya durum bildirmek için kullanılır. Diğer fiillerden farklı olarak kendisi yardımcı fiil görevi de görür.
